I’m going to explain how the arthropod community associated to the cork oak (Quercus suber) vary along time since the area is excluded from livestock grazing. During my postdoctoral international mobility plan, I have been carrying out an experiment at Companhia das Lezirias, where I have studied the arthropod composition in grazed areas (permanent pastures) and I have compared these results with other areas where livestock has been excluded for 14, 18 and 24 years. All the arthropods have been classified to order level, and Coleoptera, Araneae and Lepidoptera have been classified to species level.
