MEPs block objections to neonicotinoid bans, which look set for approval

The European Parliament’s Environment Committee (ComEnvi) has voted down three objections tabled by UK MEP Julie Girling asking the Commission to withdraw its draft proposal to permanently ban three neonicotinoids pesticides, meaning that the ban will likely soon receive final approval and enter into force.
