EU Court in opinion on CAP, competition law rules for POs
The Advocate General of the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) has issued an opinion stating that colluding on setting prices, establishing quantities and exchanging information between separate producer organisations (POs) or associations falls within the remit of EU competition law and takes precedence over the goals of the CAP.
