Commission to open CAP reform consultation on Thursday

The European Commission will launch a public consultation on the next CAP on Thursday (February 2), seeking views on priority areas – mostly in checklist form – and ideas on how to simplify and modernise EU farm policy post-2020.

The online questionnaire on “modernising and simplifying”the CAP, which will be open for 12 weeks, will be presented by EU AgricultureCommissioner Phil Hogan in Brussels at 12.00 CET.
