Commission reveals final milk reduction scheme figures, labels it 'clear success'

A total of 48,288 milk farmers in the EU reduced production by 860,907 tonnes in the last quarter of 2016 and early January of this year under European Commission measures aimed at reducing milk production.

The EU executive receivedthe final figures from member states (see below for a breakdown per member state) yesterday (April 6) for the scheme
