Portuguese
Contribution for the Mid Term Review of the Common Agricultural Policy
|
In
accordance with the Treaty on European Union, Community policies
and action are to contribute to economic and social cohesion .
There is no apparent reason why the common agricultural policy
should be any exception. The European Commission itself
acknowledges in its most recent report on economic and social
cohesion that Portugal is the only cohesion country showing
negative net transfers under the common agricultural policy. |
